Go FEMME Yourself

Go FEMME Yourself is An event redefining what it means to be feminine: No amount of pink can make you less strong, competent, capable.

Brought to you by The FEMISH Organization, a nonprofit sharing research and education on femmephobia, and sponsored by Curios Elixirs.

• The event will have 3 speaker in casual conversation including: Suzanne Sabat, Professional Make-Up Artist discussing the bias view of the beauty industry, branding, and how important community is.
• Samy Nemir Olivares, Political and Community Organizer, Queer Latinx Advocate, and Transformative Coach speaking on their experience in the political world as a feminine queer person, and finding the courage to be who you are.
• Samantha Martin, Feminine Equity Advocate, Founder of FEMISH, and Attorney, speaking on Femmephobia and how it is related to discrimination of people and industries.

Also feauting Angelica Frontier, owner of Salon_Halo.Ink who will be tattooing at the event! Tattoos will be limited to what is available on a flash sheet. To see the tattoo choices and sign-up times please e-mail info@femish.org. A reserved spot is required to get a tattoo, and only a few spots are remaining.

FEMISH uses donations to operate and support their internship program with college and graduate students, create educational content, support researchers, and bring awareness to important issues that perpetuate gender bias, discrimination, and gender-based violence.
