HOW CAN WE MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Through advocacy, education, research, and support, we can help address the discrimination that exists against femininity that leads to gender-policing, and get closer to genuine equality and inclusion.

COLLEGE CAMPUS INTERNSHIPS

The purpose of FEMISH Internships is to involve students in the nonprofit world and create more game-changers with leadership and organizing experience. Students analyze policy  in schools and our government while assisting with running  a nonprofit and creating community outreach opportunities to encourage reflection on social constructs.

ADVOCACY

Social Media is an amazing tool that can be used for people all across the world to unite and create a movement. With the use of hashtags, shares, tweets, we can lift up the voices of those discriminated against, share the joys of those who are freely feminine, and call organizations to take action or change their policies.

RESEARCH

Even feminine research has to deal with bias; less publications, less recognition. The FEMISH Organization plans to give awards to students pursuing their PhD or Master's, and to those working in the field. Applicants will submit their work which will be reviewed by a committee. The winners will be invited to sit on the committee for the next years applicants.

BOOK  CLUB

The FEMISH Book Club showcases literature on feminism, gender bias, and gender discrimination from intersectional experiences and perspectives to show the complexity each
experience contains and foster understanding and acknowledgement of other voices. Grab some friends and dive into the issues caused by patriarchal ideas and see how it affects everyone.
